-The following were released from their contracts recently:WWE wrestlers Chris "Braden Walker" Harris, Nunzio, James Curtis, Shannon Moore, Domino, Big Daddy V, Charles Evans, Brad Attitude, Matt O'Neal, Cherry, The Highlanders, Colin Delaney, Stevie Richards and referees Nick Patrick and Wes Adams.
-"Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling" will debut on CMT on October 18, 2008 at 8 PM eastern.
-WWE Raw is in Chicago tonight. I'll have the results up tomorrow afternoon at the latest.
-August 25 Raw will air live at 9 PM eastern on Sci-Fi Channel due to US Open tennis coverage.
-Edge was removed from under the ring in a wheeled crate while the lights were out after the PPV event last night.
TNA:
--There is talk of Kevin Nash turning against Samoa Joe and aligning with Sting, Booker T. and Kurt Angle in a feud similar to Millionaires Club vs New Blood in WCW.
-Salinas will take part in an upcoming FOX reality show called "America's Sex Symbol".
-3,500 fans attended the Hard Justice PPV earlier this month.
-TNA will no longer provide free event tickets. The company thinks it's bad for business.
INDY:
-NECW held its annual Birthday Bash event this past Saturday night. Results to come.
